A downloadable game for Windows

Did you know that:

  • Ringing phones and e-mail alerts lower IQs by 10 points?
  • Water makes different sounds depending on its temperature?
  • Knowledge workers spend average 20 hours a week managing e-mail?
  • It would take 19 minutes to fall to the centre of the earth?
  • 60% of computer users check e-mail in the bathroom?
  • Candy floss was invented by a dentist?
  • A typical knowledge worker turns to e-mail 50 to 100 times a day?
  • You can draw a line 56 kilometres long using one pencil?
  • 85% of computer users say they would take a laptop on vacation?
  • The abbreviation OMG was used over 100 years ago?
  • Employees consider 1 in 3 e-mails unnecessary?

No? Neither did I. The question is: Do we need to know?

The inspiration for this prototype was my own web browser with its 50+ bookmarks constantly opened. As you can see, I´m very curious person and  tend to click on everything that sparks my interest (and there is a lot of it), but the real issue arises if
I don't read the given article immediately and "postpone it for later".

Of course, the Japanese have a expression for this kind of behavior:
Tsundoku (積ん読) refers to the phenomenon of acquiring reading materials but letting them pile up in one's home without reading them.

In this game you will be chased by various websites and the only way to escape them is to turn off the router. Good luck!
